The work on citronella is still continued by involving NGO’s in remote areas under CSIR societal and DBT sponsored projects. It has popularized cultivation of edible mushrooms by organizing training programmes and supplying seed materials. Large number of women NGO’s and individuals are engaged in mushroom cultivation; Quality improvement of muga silk.
